My intention behind the formula:
While I love drinking nettles as a whole plant infusion, the taste is not for everyone. It’s a very salty tasting herb; my teacher likes to say drinking nettles is like drinking from the teat of the Earth Mother. It is a plant rich with vitality, and I wanted to create an extract where it could really be enjoyed by all. On top of that, combining nettles with local honey is a phenomenal ally for allergy support— which as a gardener, myself, I have to start preparing early in the spring to build up my tolerance up for the inevitable long hours ahead battling the pollen, once summer hits.
